What is a typical day like for you?

When I'm back home, my days are usually filled with work, and evening I head to a climbing gym or enjoy some nice movies and documentaries. Weekends are reserved for photography, climbing, and diving. When I'm in Asia I try and explore, dive and search for stories as much as possible.

When did you first start documenting your ocean story?

2014.

What are the fondest memories from your upbringing that you feel impacted your life choices and lifestyle today?

Growing up in Serbia (ex Yugoslavia), I remember watching documentaries about nature and thinking this is the stuff I'll never get to see, but I enjoyed watching it. I didn't go to nature as much but still loved watching documentaries about the animal kingdom. All changed at some point, and I was in nature all the time. I began traveling and seeing stuff I thought I would never get to see, but now I'm photographing it.

What path did you choose after leaving school?

I chose programmers path as it is the one rare thing that could get me paid back in Serbia.

What do you value most in life?

Family and my determination.

What brings you the most joy?

Spending time in nature and seeing it thrive.

Who/what currently inspires you?

People like Paul Nicklen, David Attenborough etc.

What would you most like to change in the world/environment today?

I would like to make people care more about nature.

Are there any books/documentaries that have guided your thinking?

Soul Of A Camera (David Duchemin), all of the David attenborough documentaries, Chasing Corals, Virunga, Blackfish.

What legacy do you hope to leave?

I hope when someone sees my photographs changes the was they think about nature.

What advice would you give to anyone looking to follow their dreams as an ocean Storyteller?

Start early, always learn, and don't let people tell you you can't do it.
