“Everyday the opportunity to experience some of the richest and most biodiverse marine life in the world is within grasp in Fuvahmulah, an island located in the Southern Hemisphere of the Maldives.”

WELCOME TO SHARK PARADISE

On the small local island of Fuvahmulah lives a community that has lived in harmony with sharks for hundreds of years. Islanders have surfed, swam, dived and fished their way into a peaceful, harmonious relationship with a species that’s widely feared and threatened.

This micro culture of harmony and coexistence is a gleaming testament of an unwritten, unspoken understanding between humans and sharks. One that we can all learn from, for the benefit of both humankind and the future health of our oceans.

The least understood thing by humans has been the ability to connect with nature - and this exhibition will show you a new world of possibilities.

Fuvahmulah is one of the best Shark Dive Destinations in the World, home to Pelagic life like none other. Encounters with Tiger Sharks are guaranteed, along with good chances of seeing up to 5 other species of sharks, including hammerheads, silver tips, grey reef, thresher and whale sharks.

Our guided expeditions with 'Shark Island Dive' have been designed so you can observe these magnificent and misunderstood creatures everyday.

All of our diving takes place in clear, warm blue water with depths ranging from 10 - 30 meters. (30 - 90 feet)
