Our storytellers are individual creatives who use their abilities to highlight the crucial work of ocean guardians, projects, or campaigns through imagery/film, illustrations, or the written word. Our storytellers' beautiful work helps inspire a love for the ocean and encourage activism.
Guardians
OCL Guardians are formed of organisations who share a common love for the ocean and work to protect it.
Advocates
Our advocates consist of individuals who are doing the most to protect our oceans. This can be through conservation efforts, awareness initiatives and/or education.
Our oceans are in danger due to human activities such as overfishing, pollution, and climate change.
And those best positioned to help solve these problems – the marine biologists, conservationists, scientists and charities – often lack the resources to create awareness or inspire action.
We’re changing that.
Ocean Culture Life is a global community of storytellers, Guardians and Ocean Advocates whose lives have been shaped by the sea. Together, we’re committed to protecting our oceans – turning research, community projects, and conservation efforts into influential films and photo series. We believe passionately in the power of storytelling and organic collaboration to nurture a meaningful connection and educate a generation that will grow up to support and protect our most undervalued and mistreated resource - the ocean.
